The Jefferson County Health Unit will be here on these dates to do the Flu Clinics:

Edgewood Oct 8, 2020 at 8:30 a.m.

L.L. Owen Oct 2, 2020 at 12:30 p.m.

Coleman Oct. 5, 2020 at 12:30 p.m.

Jr High Oct. 1, 2020 at 12:30 p.m.

Sr. High Oct 6, 2020 at 12:30

Virtual Students can go to the Jefferson County Health Unit any time starting Sept. 22, 2020, Monday through Friday to receive their flu vaccination. If  the student has health insurance they need to bring that information with them. If they do not have insurance they can still receive the immunizations.

Immunization Information 2020

Students that turn 11 between Sept. 1, 2019 and Sept. 1, 2020 will need to have the TDAP Immunization to return to school this fall. Proof of immunization is to be brought to the school nurse.

Students that are entering the 7th grade will need to have their first MCV4 before returning to school this fall.
Proof of immunization is to be brought to the school nurse.

Students that turn 16 between Sept. 1, 2019 and Sept. 1, 2020 will need to have their 2nd MCV4 immunization
to return to school this fall.  Proof of immunization is to be brought to the school nurse. 

The Arkansas State Board of Education with authority expressly conferred by the laws of the State of Arkansas requires each student to be current with his/her immunizations. Students that have exemptions must have a new letter from the Arkansas Department of Health each year.
