Watson Chapel School District is requesting all parents complete a Free and Reduced Meal Application for the 2024-2025 School Year. This school year, all students will continue to eat at no charge. We are asking families to complete the application so we can have data to show our community still benefits from meals at no charge. Without the proper information, Watson Chapel may have to go back to charging for meals in future school years. Applications are available in paper form or you can fill them out on-line. Only one application is needed per family, as long as all students and household residents are listed. We are also planning to have Paula Bailey available at school open houses to answer any questions and help parents as needed.

Watson Chapel School District will be participating the Provision 2 this year. Students will still received breakfast and lunch at no charge, but we will be asking families to complete Meal Applications. The data from the meal applications will help us to continue to provide meals at no charge. More information about the meal applications will be posted shortly. Gould Youth Ministries has added summer meals at Watson Chapel High School.

Gould Youth Ministries will be serving summer meals at Coleman Elementary and the Fieldhouse. SUMMER EBT has changed and not all students will automatically receive it. If your student receives SNAP, is homeless, migrant, foster child or a runaway, you do not need to apply. If your student is receiving SNAP and is not in one of the above caterogies, you will have to apply for the Summer EBT card. Please go to DHS website to access the application. https://humanservices.arkansas.gov/divisions-shared-services/county-operations/summer-ebt/ Applications must be emailed, mailed to, or dropped off at the DHS office. Please do not bring them to the school.
