Last night Watson Chapel JROTC hosted a military ball at the Pine Bluff Country Club. We a re very proud to have this program at Watson Chapel. Thank you to SFC Jimmy Stocker and Major Darrell Small for your leadership in this program.

develop habits that will last a lifetime and will help them become lifelong learners! Complete the reading activities throughout the month with your

Good Evening, due to the uncertainty of the weather forecast Watson Chapel School District will pivot to virtual learning and take AMI day 3 tomorrow February 23rd. Classes on campus will resume February 24th. Stay safe and warm.
Small Bites Pediatric Dentistry will conduct dental screenings and place dental sealants and/or Fluoride treatments at Coleman Elementary School on Friday, February 25, 2022. Forms must be turned in to the school nurse by Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Contact the school office to request another dental screening form if you need another dental screening form. You can also call Nurse Sullivent, the District Nurse, at 870-550-4646 if you have any questions.
Mrs. Johnson's Jr. High Music Appreciation Classes and High School Choir Classes went on a Field Trip to Little Rock to visit the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra String Quartet (which performed the compositions of African American Composers from Arkansas, and Women Composers), and the Mosaic Templars Cultural Museum (which featured exhibits some of which originated in Pine Bluff). We had lunch at Park Plaza Mall's Food Court. It was a very Educational and Cultural Day for our students!

Big congratulations go out to the Jr High Girls' Basketball team for winning the River City Conference Tournament. They are the 2022 River City Conference Champions! Way to go! Also, big congrats to Coach Grant and Coach Hatter!

Watson Chapel School District is hosting a Covid-19 vaccination clinic, along with ADH and Express RX Pharmacy. We will be administering the Pfizer vaccine to anyone in the community, five years of age and older that needs first, second, or the booster shot. We will have the influenza vaccine also, if you need it. Free Covid-19 test kits will also be available while they last. See the image below for the schedule!
We are celebrating our awesome school counselors for Counselors Appreciation Week. Our School Counselors are a vital part of our team and we are so fortunate to have these ladies working with our kids. Thank you for all you do.

STAR Testing will take place onsite for 2nd and 3rd grade virtual students on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 8:30 AM at LL Owen Elementary. Parents will need to sign in on the STAR Test Sign-in Sheet and provide a telephone number. We will contact the parent on that number when testing ends. Please excuse the short notice, but this is the only day the Instructional Facilitator has available to complete the testing. If for some reason a student is unable to test tomorrow, we will do our best to work out another time.
