WC's JROTC Wildcat Battalion won several awards at the WC Invitational . They won 3rd place in the Male Color Guard event and 2nd place in the CoEd Color Guard event. We're so proud of this program!

There are reports of a lockdown incident in Waycross, Georgia at a school that also goes by “WCHS” on social media at this time. There is NO lockdown in effect at Watson Chapel School District or any of the Watson Chapel campuses. Please be assured that the safety of our students and staff is always our top priority.

WCHS Cheer will be hosting a cheer clinic for 3rd-6th graders in the Auxiliary Gym from September 30-October 4. The cost is $35 per person. See flyer for more details!

UAPB and WCSD are excited to present "Kids in the Kitchen" series at the Watson Chapel Public Library! This opportunity is open to 5th grade students and transportation will be provided by the district. WE NEED YOUR HELP. Watson Chapel School District is asking all students have a completed Free and Reduced Meal Application on file for this year. So far only about 55% of students have one on file.
We need these applications to be able to continue to provide meals at no charge to students next year.
These applications the school fund student meals, free ACT testing, technology for schools and helps to support our music, art and sports programs.
If you have not filled out a meal application for your student, or received a letter stating your student has been approved for free meals due to SNAP, please fill one out today.
You can complete it on line at https://secure.ezmealapp.com/ApplicationScreen.aspx or pick up a paper copy from the school.
Chelsey Dixon is cooking up some corn on the cob for our High School lunch today. Along with being delicious, corn is high in fiber, vitamins and minerals.
Watson Chapel School cafeteria is working on adding more variety to our menus. These menus are reviewed in the District Wellness Committee, which is open to parents and community members.
